My client, a leading public sector organisation based in Glasgow, currently require 4 Web Content Developers to join their expanding team on a contract basis.
The role itself involves developing content for customer-centred websites, optimising content for searching and providing wider support for the development of digital communication through support and best practice web content development.
To be successful in this role you will be a skilled communicator with excellent English language copywriting, editing and content publication skills. You will be able to publish web content to specified standards and have solid experience of using content management systems for publishing this content.
You will have demonstrable experience in the following;
• Extensive knowledge of the web as a customer channel.
• Awareness of best practice, legislation and international standards relating to writing for web skills.
• Ability to publish content and maintain editorial, style and usability/ accessibility guidelines and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
It is desirable that you have used some form of web analytics systems (Google Analytics and Omniture) or other applications such as Photoshop and Microsoft Office). Please send your CV in the first instance.
