Based in Bristol a Senior Business Analyst is required on a contract basis with a strong finance background. Candidates must possess previous experience in a similar role within a major project environment; experience of working in or closely with a group Finance function and in a large bank or financial services organisation; working knowledge of Finance processes including reporting, management of static data, treasury, cost transfer, finance business partnering. You should also possess strong business process analysis experience; ability to host and arrange workshops; understand new systems and processes quickly and apply this knowledge in terms of analysis and design; understanding of SOX. You would be required to impact assess and document To-Be processes and controls required as a result of migrations and detail associated business impacts. This would include completing To-Be process maps for processes identified for change or that are new, document impacts on Finance controls EUCs and reports including SOX impacts; build the end to end model for processes across Finance; liaise with other areas of the programme to ensure they understand the impact assessment; facilitate the impact and design of workshops.
