An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Integration Consultant to embark on a 6 Month contract with a leading oil and gas organisation based in London.
The role will be accountable for the functional & technical design & integrity of Applications supporting the major finance processes including Fixed Asset Accounting, & Local Statutory Reporting both in production & under development. Understand & interpret business requirements; support the creation of fit-for-purpose application roadmaps; support management of defined application & architecture, applying technical experience to analyse & specify solutions for complex business problems & providing well-informed advice. Main elements of the role will involve developing new processes or identify improvements in the current processes, work with Solution Architects and Line of Business Architects to ensure solution meets IT standards, assist in defining test plans and criteria, perform evaluation of test results and involved in integration testing, provide input to the implementation, process and technical gap analysis, and conversion strategies and support change management activities and communications.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of a project management methodology, system development lifecycle methodology, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership skills, solid experience with software applications, and their impact on the business and a good understanding of IT security and compliance.
