International Trade Advisors required - Scotland (multiple locations) - Contract
My client has a requirement for a number of International Trade Advisors provide leadership and advice to companies with no international trading experience and increase their export success.
Covering a number of sectors including: Oil and gas, Renewables, food and drink, textiles, creative industries, life sciences, construction and tourism etc.
Requirements:
• International Business experience within an SME context
• Knowledge of one or more of the key sectors (Life Sciences, Food and Drink, Textiles, Oil and Gas, Creative Industries and Enabling Technologies, Construction, Tourism and Renewables.)
• International Sales and Marketing experience
• Strategy development ability
• Technical competency in international trade (trade law, finance, marketing and distribution)
• Strong relationship building capability
• Credibility at a senior level
• Appreciation of other cultures and in depth knowledge of at least one overseas geography/foreign language ability.
Applicants also must have completed a valid Basic Disclosure Scotland in the last 12 months.
